✳ ✴ ✵ ✶ ✷ ✸ ✹ ✺ dressing table ✽ ✾ ✿ ❀ ❁ ❃ ❋

Here are a few pictures of my jewellery box, followed by my vintage plate of my favourite necklaces, followed by my favourite makeup bags/purses or whatever else I use them for. As you can tell, my dressing table is compacted with immense varieties of colours and patterns. I’m always mixing it around because I have so much stuff sitting on it and want everything to be seen, but I like the arrangement of how it is right now.

I don’t particularly like strong perfumes. My favourites are Daisy by Marc Jacobs and Miss Dior by Chanel. I also have a few miniature bottles, they’re so cute and are amazing scents.

My absolute favourite product on my dresser is my jewellery box. My mum picked it up for me at a fair near to where I live. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. It’s so different to anything else and I admire it every time I open it. It stores my dangly earrings as well as my bracelets I have purchased each year at the Ibiza hippie markets. Beneath in what I call the ”secret section” are valuable belongings such as saved up money for my Reading fund! 😀

I’m no quite sure where this vintage plate came from, but I’m pretty sure it was passed down from my mum’s side. I love being able to lay out my favourite possessions. Surrounding it, are candles, perfume bottles, my vintage hand mirror and a picture of my sister and I many moons ago.

Another thing that I love having in my table is flowers, especially bright coloured ones. I think that they are the final element in bringing my dresser to life.

I use my dressing table to develop my sense of style and how I like to present my style. It is a great way of being able to express yourself.

❈ ❉ Dream catcher ❊ ❋

This beauty arrived this week from a very specially talented lady who creates these wonders from purely recycled vintage materials. Each of her pieces are unique and amaze me in different ways. I fell in love with one similar to mine and emailed her asking for a similar design. It has traveled from Australia  and now hangs stunningly over my dressing table. I love the floral and lace that hangs so delicately but what I love the most is the mandala-like crochet that completes one of my favourite pieces of decor.

If you are interested in purchasing one of your own, then contact the lovely Hayley via email or shop on her etsy  site. For more details see her instagram rainbowdreamtim
